<database/>

The database section controls the maintenance features of the GBUdb database. There are two aspects to GBUdb database maintenance:

• Condensation - The GBUdb dataset is periodically "condensed" to reduce its size and to gradually "forget" IP records that are no longer active.
• Checkpoints - The GBUdb dataset is periodically saved to disk so that it can be reloaded on the next restart.
