Where do I start checking to ensure that the spam is indeed being caught and tagged?

SNF will produce a log file that shows Clean and Final result lines. Each Clean line indicates a message that was not spam and each Final result that has a non-zero symbol matched a spam rule. A Final result with a zero symbol value would have matched a white rule (those are rare in non-customized systems).
